Vacations are only fun when you're on your way, everything is taken care of and you are finally worry-free. We try our best to make the transition from packing / preparing / planning to actual relaxing vacation time, as quick and simple as possible.
Below is a common list of requirements, what-ifs, procedures and protocol that you should know. If you have any further questions, please see our FAQ listing, or Contact us for anything.
With any rental periods of three days or more, Voyagerider® will pick you up from the Salt Lake City International Airport, and drop you back off there at the end of your jounrey.
To get right to the point, insurance coverage is included in our motorcycle rental Rates. You are covered under any circumstances with a $1000 deductible which you are responsible for in the event of an accident.
Voyagerider® offers a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) as an option to our customer. This is an additional $15.00 per day and is simply a method to relieve YOUR OWN insurance company in case of an "at fault" accident.
With the purchase of CDW insurance, Voyagerider's insurance company takes primary responsibility for BOTH Comprehensive Coverage and Collision Coverage. Without the CDW, our insurance company takes primary responsibility for Comprehensive Coverage, and secondary responsibility for Collision Coverage.
A security deposit is required for the rental of any Voyagerider motorcycle. A deposit of $1500 will be temporarily secured to any credit card given by the customer, per motorcycle rented. This amount is simply frozen on the card until the return of the motorcycle (given it returns in excellent condition); it will then be immediately released back to the card. The amount is NEVER charged to your card, unless damage has occured. In addition, we require a $50 deposit on helmets provided during the rental period.
Our vital requirements are simple:
1) You must have an "M" class endorsement on your valid driver's license. 2) Helmets and proper safety apparel are to be worn at all times. 3) The customer is thoroughly and 100% fully responible for the condition of the motorcycle upon return. Voyagerider utiltizes a thorough check-in and check-out procedure which each customer will acknowledge and must agree upon before leaving our building.
Once you have booked a reservation, you may cancel if needed. Providing at least 5 days of notice will only dock the customer 10% of the reservation fee. A 48 hour notice requires a 25% charge of the reservation fee. Day-of cancellations retain 50%.
Ideally we aim for 10 a.m. pickup time and 10 a.m. dropoff time upon your return. We realize schedules do not always allow precision when on vacation and you may just need the bike for additional hours, which can be arranged at an additional cost. See our Rates. for details.
